John is a photographer.  Mia is a typesetter & graphic designer. In the nineties they started the photography and design company. In 2000 they bought a screen press and changed their name to the social architects. In 2010 they leased 558-A West Second Street in Pomona’s Art Colony and changed their name to Twenty Miles East... hoping to draw all their los angeles based friends to their establishment. Mia has been heard saying, “We’re just about twenty miles east of Los Angeles.” Your GPS may tell you different but we say upon your arrival “it’s worth the drive.” Put a latte, lemonade, or cool water in your cup holder.
